Still continuing to try and perfect this one – A good opportunity came to try and do it again and so I made these a few months ago and shared them out as part of a project in church. The two cheesecakes ended up being a little different as I wasn’t ing a specific recipe, can’t decide which one I preferred more but was in love with the taste, I think the flavours so great together ๐Ÿคฉ

I baked the first one (first photo) in a wider pan so it ended up being the smaller but wider one put of the two. There was more of the biscuit base here as well so I think the filling to base ratio worked better here – for the matcha topping it was thick, almost looked like icing once it cooled down and again it worked really well with the amount of filling and base ๐Ÿ’ฏ

The second one (second photo) was taller out of the two and the filling was definitely softer and had a lighter taste as well, not sure if I added too much liquid but I had a hard time cutting and putting them into containers after – one of them ended up breaking as well as I tried to lift it ๐Ÿ’” The matcha topping was thinner here as well but I was loving the little ripple design it made ~ Also forgot to add a thin layer of egg wash to the base this time and so it became softer much quicker ๐Ÿ™

So glad people could enjoy these as well, got some great reviews from them hahaa :’) Out of the two I would say I preferred the first one a little more but both of them were pretty great and I always enjoy the process of making these โœจ
